Our programs support our service members while they are on the front line, as they are being discharged and long after they return. Your donation will be immediately directed to the VFW programs where your support is most urgently needed.

Commander Thomas Booth
As District Commander, I am pleased to report that Veterans of Foreign Wars Texas District 4 has continued to make steady progress during the first half of the year in support of our mission and responsibilities.
Throughout this period, our posts have remained active in serving veterans, their families, and our communities. District leadership has focused on supporting post commanders and officers through consistent communication, guidance, and oversight to ensure compliance with VFW policies and effective post operations. Cooperation among posts and district officers has remained strong.
Membership remains a primary focus for District 4. At mid-year, the district requires 738 additional members to reach 101% membership for the year. Post commanders and membership teams have been encouraged to prioritize recruitment, retention, and reinstatements, recognizing that a strong and engaged membership is essential to sustaining our programs and fulfilling the VFW mission.
District 4 posts have continued to support community service initiatives, patriotic observances, and veteran assistance programs. Leadership development and mentorship efforts remain ongoing to ensure continuity and effectiveness at both the post and district levels.
As we move into the second half of the year, District 4 will place continued emphasis on achieving membership goals, increasing post participation, and supporting programs that directly benefit veterans and their families. I remain committed to working with post leadership and the Department of Texas to ensure District 4 operates with integrity, accountability, and dedication to service.
